Aladdin at New Amsterdam Theatre

The hit Broadway musical Disney’s Aladdin, playing for you live at New Amsterdam Theatre in New York on Saturday 21st September 2024. “Pure genie-us!” says USA Today and, “Fabulous and extravagant!” Says The New York Times. Get your magic carpet and fly away to the Arabian city of Agrabah, a fully assorted city of noblemen, merchants and cut-throats. We enter near the worthless common thief Aladdin, as he gets caught up in the evil plan by the Sultan's Grand Vizier, Jafar, who wishes to usurp the throne and steal away the striking Princess Jasmin for himself. Aladdin manages to escape from the Cave of Wonder with a tiny bit of help from a mighty Genie, then becomes the grand Prince Ali, to woo the wonderful Princess Jasmin. The unbelievable happens and the horrible Jafar gets his hands on the lamp and whoever holds the lamp controls the Genie! Jafar becomes the new astoundingly formidable sorcerer Sultan of Agrabah and steels away the gorgeous Princess Jasmin for himself! How will Aladdin beat the malicious Grand vizier and secure the hand of the beautiful Princess Jasmin, or will this legend end in tears and devastation for the city of Agrabah?
